Amendment of the law regulating the activities of the Foundation

Every penny of the donations and stamp duties paid to the Foundation is directed exclusively to the families of those soldiers who died or went missing as well as those who got disabled while defending the borders of the homeland.

Since 2017 the Foundation's team has worked exclusively on a voluntary basis, serving an average of 45 cases annually.

The war unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020 and its catastrophic consequences, have unfortunately multiplied the work of the Foundation. It implies daily full-time workload, which is now devotedly carried out by our small staff.

Organizing the Foundation's activities on a purely voluntary basis is now unrealistic, since the Foundation faces the challenge of serving thousands of cases and at the same time actively raising funds. Despite the fact that the challenges of the Foundation have changed as a result of the war, its mission has remained intact.

According to the amendment to the law regulating the activities of the Foundation adopted on December 29, 2020, the expenses of the Foundation will be financed by the Central Bank in 2021. In 2022, the Foundation will cover its expenses within the budget approved by the newly appointed Board.

Based on our principle of exclusively transparency, we promise to present our 2021 budget in the near future, which will include the expenses to be financed by the Central Bank in 2021.
